The Wisconsin Association of Fairs, in partnership with the Mid-West Farm Report, proudly announces the winners of the 2025 Bob Williams “Every Person Has a Fair Story” contest. This year’s contest celebrated the cherished memories, traditions, and experiences fairs bring to Wisconsinites across generations.
The late Bob Williams, former Fairs Coordinator for the Wisconsin Department of Agriculture, Trade, and Consumer Protection (DATCP), founded the contest. Now in its ninth year, the contest continues to highlight Wisconsin’s deep connection to its fair traditions.
“This year, the competition was fierce, with heartfelt and inspiring submissions. We’re thrilled to see Wisconsinites’ ongoing passion for their fair stories. These memories truly capture the spirit of our state’s fairs, which have been a key part of Wisconsin’s culture for generations,” said Mary Check, Board President of the Wisconsin Association of Fairs.
