Beer & Agriculture Go Hand-In-Hand This Week

Badgers On Tap brings UW-Madison expertise to pubs, breweries, and bars near you, and it starts this week during the Wisconsin Science Festival. The new series will kick off in Green Bay, Madison, Milwaukee, and La Crosse.

The weeklong Wisconsin Science Festival features events throughout Wisconsin for people of all ages and interests. Activities include hands-on science experiments, live Q&A sessions and interviews with scientists, demonstrations, performances, behind-the-scenes tours, and Badgers On Tap.

Fran Puleo Moyer, associate director of outreach programs for UW Connects, has the details:

This year’s festival feature is agriculture, and that’s what’s featured during Badgers On Tap. Lecture topics range from growing hops to farm-to-school programs, and from the history of crops to the biology of colors in food:
