The Wisconsin Pork Association and UW-Extension are hosting a Swine Reproduction Workshop on July 23 at Minitube USA’s headquarters at 419 Venture Ct. in Verona.
Pork producers of all kinds and allied industry members are invited to attend this educational event.
The day kicks off at noon with lunch. At 1 p.m., attendees can tour Minitube USA’s facilities. Following the tour, producers will hear CCO John Quackenbush and his team discuss semen storage and handling, sow breeding, and boar collection techniques.
After that, the focus will shift to health management, vaccination considerations, and biosecurity. The event wraps up at 4 p.m.
This workshop will assist producers of all ages in maximizing the effectiveness of their production skills to achieve their greatest reproductive efficiency. Attendees will get practical, real-life insight from some of the industry’s most skilled professionals and can ask their most challenging questions regarding reproduction within their operations.
